We filmed a few weeks ago in a woods in West Kingsdown, finding an extremely appropiate spot which was essentially a huge puddle, a log laid down next to it, surrounded by a large group of trees.
The original plan was to just film myself playing guitar and/or singing with different scenes behind me. Despite obtaining an hours worth of footage, we still couldn't shake the feeling that more was needed. So progressively we introduced a girl (a fellow student; Lucy Fry) in to the think narrative, and finished a rough cut of the video last week.
The narrative is that the girl and the singer (myself), used to have a strong relationship, but something happened and she appears to either be depressed or dead. However, just like my description of our narrative, the story line was not very clear at all, so we are doing more scenes with the girl and myself. More to come soon!
